Organization of the Artificial Intelligence & Cancers Association

The Artificial Intelligence & Cancers Association is a non-profit association under the French law of 1901. This Association reflects the will to combine the strengths of every actor in their respective fields :

  • Public representatives bring their national vision and guarantee that public interest and good data use are respected,
  • Health industry companies and biotechs bring their capacity for innovation, their ability to scale-up and their international vision,
  • ARIIS brings its federating vision and its ability to create an effective space for dialogue.

A public/private financing

The Association is supported by the French Public Investment Bank (BpiFrance) with € 8.2 millon, and by each of the 9 industry founding companies, each bringing one million euros over five years. A portion of the grant is paid to the French National Cancer Institute (INCa) in order to accelerate the development of a Cancer Data Platform open to all. The other part, in the form of reimbursable advances, goes to the Association so that it can implement the project.
