Our mission

Accelerating cancer research.

The result of a two-year collaboration between the Alliance for Research and Innovation in the Health Industries (ariis) and the National Cancer Institute (INCa), the creation of the Artificial Intelligence & Cancers Consortium is currently one of the most significant achievements of the “Artificial Intelligence and Health” Program, which stems from the Strategic Sectoral Contract for Health Industries and Technologies (CSF-ITS).

Organization

A structure serving the entire ecosystem

The Artificial Intelligence & Cancer Consortium is a nonprofit organization established under the French Law of 1901 that aims to bring together the strengths of each of its members to advance the development of AI in oncology.

  • Public representatives provide their national vision and ensure respect for the public interest and proper use of data,
  • Major industrial companies and biotechs contribute their innovation capacity, scalability, and international vision,
  • ariis provides its unifying vision and ability to create an agile dialogue space.

Committees

The Partners Committee

The Partner Committee is composed of members approved by the Board of Directors of the AI & Cancer Consortium. Its purpose is to foster innovation, encourage the development of new projects, and provide expertise on technological issues.

The Stakeholder Committee​

The Stakeholders Committee is primarily composed of representatives from public research and patients. It provides contributions, suggestions, and transparency regarding the Consortium’s activities to improve efficiency, safety, and accessibility in patient care. Its members are approved by the Consortium’s Board of Directors for a four-year term.
