The SNDS: Expanding the SNDS to Understand Care Pathways: Limitations and Potential

Holding a specialized degree (DES) in general medicine and a specialized master’s degree from ESSEC in strategy and management of health industries, Yann Maël Le Douarin began his career in 2013 as a general practitioner in Paris.
After a period in the pharmaceutical industry, he joined the Ministry of Solidarity and Health in 2017 as a telehealth medical advisor, then was appointed deputy at the DGOS in charge of cooperation and contracting.
In April 2024, he was appointed head of the new Health and Digital Transformation Department (DSTN) as part of the directorate’s reorganization. This department is responsible for steering and coordinating the DGOS’s action in supporting new practices and their regulation.

Dr. Nathalie Varoqueaux, MD, PhD, is the Medical Director of Amgen France.
A specialist in hematology, she holds a PhD in Science from Paris VI Pierre and Marie Curie University in cellular and molecular biology. She has held various senior positions in several pharmaceutical companies, such as Roche, Alexion, and AstraZeneca, in medical affairs, business development, and pharmacovigilance.
N. Varoqueaux is also Vice President of ARIIS, Vice President of the LEEM Research and Innovation Commission, and a board member of the AI & Cancer Sector.
Alexandre is a pharmacist and health economist. He began his career in 1998 at a consulting firm specializing in health economics, then co-founded HEVA in 2005, a pioneer in the analysis and processing of health data, particularly medico-administrative databases.
HEVA joined the Docaposte group in April 2022, is now the data business unit of the La Poste Santé & Autonomie brand, and comprises nearly 100 employees who are experts in the collection, analysis, and processing of health data, both primary and secondary.
He serves as Deputy Chief Executive Officer, responsible in particular for development and public relations.
